The Pskov State Pedagogical University offers a number of courses in the field of transition studies, among them theories of transitional economy, characteristics of economic legislation in transitional Russia as well as approaches to sociological research on the problem of transition. Focusing mainly on teacher and foreign language training, the institute engages also in a number of international research projects and interdisciplinary study program development.
